Bridal Breakdown: Desert Rose Palette

I love the opportunity to work on bridal parties here and there, especially when they involve my existing clients. When the chance to travel to the gorgeous destination of Palm Desert came up, I was sold. Based on my client’s style, accent colors, and setting, I designed a color scheme that would translate well on different skin tones, eye colors, hair colors, etc., to achieve a cohesive look between the bride and her maids. We had an early start time so the makeup had to be applied in light layers, using both creams and powders. Below are the results!

All setup and ready to go!

Final touches before the big reveal

I was happy to sneak in a shot of these two beauties before the real photography started

I used rose gold shades from the Viseart Muse O5 palette and smudged Bobbi Brown gel liner in ‘Espresso Ink’ at the lash line.

I used Face Atelier foundation, Cover FX concealer, and Viseart to lightly sculpt and highlight.

Lips were lined with ‘Love Trap’ Lip Cheat and filled in with ‘Very Victory’ Matte Revolution, cheek color is ‘Sex on Fire’ (all from Charlotte Tilbury).

For brows I used Anastasia Brow Wiz pencils and Senna Cosmetics brow powder

I’m excited to see the final professional shots from the wedding photographer. Stay tuned!!
